Digic 4 processor is also ultra fast to provide features such as in-camera RAW image handling, image resizing, creative unique filters, 3:2 aspect ratio; S2, S3 image recording qualities. It is a very fast camera with instant wakeup and capable of shooting at 3fps continuously. 5X and 10X manual focus features work also pretty nicely.
In terms of build quality, Rebel T3 EOS 1100D achieves the same quality level with EOS 600D (which is more pricey). It feels really solid at hand although it is an entry-level DSLR.
The compatible lens variety is huge as in all new Canon DSLRs. You can also use all EF and EF-S glasses.
